Dr Rachel Baird
Dr Rachel Baird has 30 years experience as a lawyer, senior executive and non executive director.
Rachel has worked across Defence, private practice, the resource sector, not-for-profits and academia. As such, she's seen many ethical dilemmas within the workspace involving lawyers working in a range of roles. Rachel has managed the Legal Practice Management course and CPD for the Queensland Law Society (QLS) and the Australian Property Institute and has taught in both the QLS and College of Law Legal Practice Management courses.
In addition to this subject matter expertise, Rachel is an experienced academic having completed a PhD in international environmental law as well as a Master of Law and a Master of Leadership. She currently facilitates a number of courses including Law and Sustainability, Innovative Legal Practice and Law and Policy in Emerging Technologies. Her current role involves corporate governance advisory work specialising in ESG.
