Amy Castos has practised as a lawyer in the corporate and government sectors for over 17 years and also has an international coaching accreditation.
Amy specialises in working with teams and individuals in the professional services arena to maximise productivity and performance in a sustainable way through a mix of coaching, consulting, and team facilitation workshops. She works collaboratively with clients to tailor strategies which will be most effective to promote productivity in their respective organisations. This includes improving and developing skills in leadership, effective communication, ethics, resilience, emotional intelligence and stress and time management.
Amy has particular expertise in working with lawyers and the legal industry, drawing on her eight years working as a Senior Lawyer and Investigations Officer for the Victorian Legal Services Board and Commissioner. She also teaches and mentors in the Ethics component of the Practical Legal Training program at the Leo Cussen Centre for Law, in addition to assessing in a number of other subjects including Consumer Law, Employment Law and Client Interview Lawyer Program.
Amy has extensive experience in a number of coaching methodologies which underpins the work that she engages in with her clients. She is accredited in a behavioural profiling tool, Extended DISC, which enables her to work with teams and individuals to develop specific strategies to achieve the highest levels of productivity and success.
She is committed to building relationships and inspiring people to step outside their comfort zones to achieve more productive outcomes and maximise their performance through creating fun, practical and significant learning experiences.
